Housing Is A Reproductive Justice Issue

The ability to secure safe, affordable, and accessible housing is critical to ensuring people are able to raise their families in healthy communities free of violence and oppression. There are many reasons why people struggle to find housing, including racist and predatory lending and leasing practices and the failure to prioritize accessible housing. With many of our friends and neighbors facing eviction and millions living without housing for extended periods of time, we must organize to address the urgent need even as we support progressive policies to create sustainable housing for all.

On our Act and Learn webinar, you will hear from activists and community leaders who have been sounding the alarm and organizing to address housing as a reproductive justice issue.

Confirmed panelists include:

  • Ingris Moran, Lead Organizer of Tenants and Workers United
  • Lora Gulley, MSW, Director of Community Mobilization and Advocacy at Generate Health STL
