The reproductive justice framework is significant because it emphasizes the need to consider the holistic health of mothers and their families. In this webinar, health experts will give brief presentations that cover four imperatives for maternal health and wellbeing. Topics included are the importance of birth control access; the importance of and need to extend perinatal care; how the legal system interferes with healthy pregnancies and childbirth; and economic concerns that hinders people’s ability to decide if and when to have a child, and parent them safely.
