March 11, 2024: Reproaction’s Co-Founder, President, and CEO Erin Matson has sent a letter to the CEO of NFI Consumer Products urging the company to immediately end a partnership with anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America to offer a 15% discount on the e.p.t Analog 2 Pregnancy Test.

“In offering a special discount code for e.p.t. Pregnancy Tests through Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, you appear to be endorsing the actions and viewpoints of this dangerous organization,” the letter reads.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America has advocated for restrictive abortion bans at both the national and state levels. The organization has expressed their support for:

• Restricting access to in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments, having recently voiced their opposition to a bill introduced in the U.S. Senate that would protect IVF in favor of a “more ethical” approach.
• The view that freezing eggs for future use is a selfish decision that “renounces what motherhood and feminism should be about.”
• Voter suppression: The organization used election fraud claims as a basis for opposing legislation that would make voting more accessible. In a 2020 statement, B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said, “The integrity of our electoral system was severely compromised in 2020 when pro-abortion Democrats – utilizing the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse – weakened state laws that ensure free and fair elections.”

Despite efforts by anti-abortion groups, support for abortion remains strong. Every ballot measure that has gone to voters since the overturn of Roe v. Wade has resulted in the protection of abortion rights.

“Anti-abortion organizations and lobbyists like Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America want to force their beliefs on others and control others’ decisions, including each and every one of the customers of e.p.t Pregnancy Tests,” Erin Matson said in the letter to NFI Consumer Products.
