Defend Title IX

Roughly 1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted while in college. Despite such staggering numbers, Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education, has launched an attack on students across the country by announcing plans to overhaul Title IX protections.

Title IX requires federally funded schools to follow guidelines for handling sexual assault cases. The policy ensures equal opportunity for all students and requires colleges to have support services for survivors, like counseling and accommodations. All of this is now at risk because of DeVos’ decision.

If the Trump administration actually cared about students, it would protect their civil rights.

We won’t let DeVos’ false rape narrative dominate mainstream conversations around Title IX. Join us to learn more about this policy, and what you can do in your community to help defend Title IX.
