Reproaction Distributes Act 292 Information at Milwaukee PrideFest
We chose to picket at Milwaukee PrideFest because reaching all communities impacted by continued enforcement of Act 29 is an incredibly important aspect of the #WIFights292 campaign.

The current administration’s pronatalist policy priorities are anything but, often putting the health and safety of vulnerable populations like children and pregnant people at risk.

We chose to picket at Milwaukee PrideFest because reaching all communities impacted by continued enforcement of Act 29 is an incredibly important aspect of the #WIFights292 campaign.

The stereotypes, stigma, and utter lack of credible information in the “The Forsaken” episode of NBC’s “New Amsterdam” is irresponsible to viewers and all pregnant people.

Governor Evers administration has the power and responsibility to act to restore rights and liberty to pregnant people across the state. Change can happen, and when it does, we will be prepared.

"As I explained the dangers of Act 292 to one patient in particular, she told me that she is currently pregnant and read the flyer intently as she walked to her car."

As a UW-Milwaukee alumni, I was eager to talk to my fellow Panthers about how the rights and health of pregnant people are at risk through continued enforcement of Wisconsin’s Act 292.

People seemed confused and shocked, and some actually stopped in their tracks after reading the flyer.

A few people asked “Is this real? Is this really happening in Wisconsin?”

Each stack of 10 to 15 fliers were placed in a visible location, such as on end tables or close to the front desk, so they would grab incoming patients' attention right away.

Act 292 is dangerous for pregnant people, and Reproaction will continue to educate the public and those vulnerable to enforcement of Act 292 until Wisconsin stops enforcing this regressive law.

Reproaction is organizing to educate the public about the threat posed to people who experience pregnancy through enforcement of Act 292 because we know that Wisconsinites deserve better.
